Working with older people, especially those with dementia, requires a sensitive and patient approach. Consistent structures are also important and supportive in verbal communication with those affected - even if they often don't perceive a rational connection, this aspect can have a great positive influence on an unconscious level. It should be emphasized that memories often exist in an implicit, unconscious form. Key stimuli, such as pictures and stories from the past, can bring out isolated memories and partially support one's own identity.

For this reason, I have developed a natural wooden cube that can be easily integrated into everyday life and into working with older people. With a size of 5cmx5cmx5cm, they are optimally sized, especially for people whose fine motor skills are regressive. Even people with regressive body perception can hold these cubes well and even squeeze them firmly without anyone getting hurt.
